I am deeply grateful and honoured to have been invited by my good friend and Chairman of the London Political Summit and Awards (LPSA), Prof. Kishan Devani MBE, FRSA, to his private residence for a distinguished gathering and special reception in honour of Shree Nautam Swami, President of Shree Satsang Mahasabha, Vadtaldham.
The occasion brought together a distinguished group of VIP guests, diplomats, academics, business leaders and friends, providing a warm and meaningful platform for fellowship, cultural exchange and international engagement.
Among the distinguished guests were H.E. Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh, High Commissioner of Sierra Leone to the United Kingdom, and H.E. Ambassador Mbelwa Kairuki, High Commissioner of Tanzania to the United Kingdom. Their presence added an important diplomatic dimension to the gathering and reflected the value of continued engagement and friendship among nations and communities.
Also in attendance was Prof. Shaunaka Rishi Das, Director of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, whose presence contributed to the intellectual and cultural significance of the evening.
We were also honoured by the presence of Mr. Krishnapal Negi, owner of Yaatra Restaurants and 1947 London, representing the important role of the hospitality, business and cultural sectors in creating spaces that bring people and communities together.
It was a particularly memorable evening of friendship, mutual respect and intercultural dialogue. Beyond the formalities, the gathering provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and celebrate the shared values that connect people across different cultures, faiths, professions and nationalities.
I sincerely appreciate Prof. Kishan Devani MBE, FRSA, for his kind invitation and generous hospitality, and I commend him for continuing to create opportunities that bring together diplomatic, political, academic, business and community leaders.
It was a privilege to be part of such a distinguished gathering, and I look forward to building on these relationships through continued engagement, friendship and partnership.
