The 2nd Annual UK - Nigeria Trade and Investment Mission Summit 2023 was a week-long event which took place from the 20th to the 28th August 2023 in the United Kingdom. As we all know, trade between the United Kingdom and Nigeria has been flourishing over the years, contributing significantly to the economic growth of both nations. The purpose of this summit was to further strengthen bilateral relations and explore untapped opportunities for collaboration and investment. The event brought together a diverse range of professionals, entrepreneurs, government officials, and industry leaders from both countries. The impressive turnout showcased the mutual enthusiasm and commitment to fostering meaningful business partnerships.
With a carefully curated agenda, the summit offered a platform for interactive discussions, knowledge sharing, investment opportunities for funding and pitching and also networking opportunities. Renowned experts delivered insightful keynote speeches, delving into crucial topics ranging from trade policies and regulation to investment strategies and emerging sectors. In addition to stimulating panel discussions and informative presentations, participants also had the chance to engage in one-on-one meetings and collaborative workshops. The summit conference was held on the second day at York St John University London campus open conference centre, thanks to Dr. Larry Jones-Esan the Director of Education and the school Dean for hosting us this year. We look forward to future editions of the UK-Nigeria Trade and Investment Mission Summit and the countless opportunities it will bring in strengthening the relationship between the countries.
