Mazi Godson Azu, an international relations expert, leadership and governance consultant, author and advocate for African development, has been honoured with the African Special Recognition Award 2026 at The Voice Achievers Awards held in London, United Kingdom.
The recognition was presented on 21 August 2026 by The Voice African News Magazine as part of The Voice Achievers Awards London 2026. According to the award certificate, the honour recognises Azu’s “Achievements & Service to Humanity.”
The award represents another significant milestone in Azu’s professional and community leadership journey, recognising his contributions to leadership, governance, international relations, trade and investment, community development and the advancement of African interests.

Azu serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cater and Merger Consult UK and Director of the C&M Centre for Leadership and Good Governance UK, through which he has contributed to advisory services, leadership development, institutional engagement and international business relations.
He is also closely associated with the London Political Summit and Awards (LPSA), an international platform bringing together political leaders, policymakers, diplomats, business executives, academics and civil society stakeholders for dialogue on governance, democracy, peace, development and international cooperation.
