This morning I was privileged to attend the first Business Breakfast Meeting of Opportunity Peterborough Network, at the Best Western Orton Hall Hotel a lovely country side facility in Peterborough, with the new Member of Parliament for Peterborough, Mr. Paul Bristow MP in attendance, and the CEO of Opportunity Peterborough Mr. Tom Hennessy speaking, on the vision and future prospects of Peterborough city looking inward, thinking and acting global, as Britain exit the EU tonight. I was opportune to mention at the meeting that the window of opportunities are opened to Peterborough businesses and services to venture into in Africa emerging market, with the coming improvement on UK/Africa trade and investment relations, post Brexit, and the need for Peterborough city and businesses to key in and embrace this new trend of opportunities in Africa. The meeting ended very well with warm promises both from Opportunities Peterborough Network and Paul Bristow MP ready to work with us in opening Africa to Peterborough.
