Val Ozigbo Wins
On Friday July 30th 2021, The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division delivered a judgement in favour of PDP and Valentine Chineto Ozigbo .
The Appeal court on Friday morning set aside the judgment of Honourable Justice A. O. Adeniji of the FCT High Court of Justice Abuja in Suit No. FCT/HC/CV/774/2021:
The suit was between SAMUEL ANYAKORAH VS. PDP, NDUBISI NWOBU & UCHENNA OBIORA.
The FCT high court sacked Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu and ordered PDP to use the statutory delegates elected on November 17, 2019 as the delegates for her June 26 governorship primaries in Anambra state.
Recall that since after the PDP Primaries, there has been series of court cases and contests for supremacy and authentic PDP candidate.
This judgement was set aside by the Appeal court Abuja. By this judgment the parallel primary election held at Paul University, Awka by the camp of Chief Chris Uba, wherein Sen. Dr. Ugochukwu Uba emerged as PDP Candidate is null and avoid and of no effect as the judgment upon which the primary was hinged is now set aside in its entirety by the Appellate Court.
